HYALURONIC PHA

An active serum to renew the skin by producing a controlled and soft exfoliation with 2% of XS hyaluronic acid and 5% of PHA. PHA have numerous skin care benefits, not causing any irritation to the skin. Because of the multiple hydroxyl groups, they are strong humectant and keep the skin glow and plumped. PHA treat the skin very gently without affecting deeper layers. The effect is very similar to that of AHAs (alpha hydroxy acids or fruit acids like glycolic or lactic acid), but as a type of polyhydroxy acid they are more beneficial. Since it is a larger molecule, they penetrate the skin slowly without burning it like the other exfoliating agents.

Hesperidin is a bioflavonoid found in large concentrations in citrus fruits, including lemon, orange, and grapefruit. Shortly, the theory behind the hesperidin skin benefits is pretty much related to its flavonoid content. Hesperidin is antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, healing, whitening and improves micro-circulation. Panthenol is a stable alcohol derivative of pantothenic acid or vitamin B5. Found in all living cells, both plant and animal, panthenol is a normal component of skin and hair and is essential for normal metabolism. It is readily absorbed by the skin, where it turns into pantothenic acid, encouraging cellular growth. A deficiency in vitamin B5 in the skin can result in serious dermatological disorders, which shows the importance of this ingredient in maintaining healthy skin.
Panthenol has a distinct humectant character, its hygroscopic properties mean, not only does it bring water to the surface of your skin, but it also penetrates deep into the epidermis infusing water in the cells, retaining moisture deep within your tissues. It is considered a mega moisturizer because of its emollient properties, it helps to reduce scars and stretch marks and has wound-healing properties, leaving the skin soft, smooth, and supple.
